What?

The German Sports Badge is an award from the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB). The services to be provided are based on the basic motor skills of endurance, strength, speed and coordination. One exercise from each of these discipline groups must be successfully completed (Bronze level). Proof of swimming ability is a necessary prerequisite for acquiring the German Sports Badge.

The German Sports Badge is a performance badge and can be acquired at the bronze, silver and gold levels. Only those who are healthy are allowed to take part in training and exams.

The aim of this sports group is to prepare the participants for the test in the disciplines 3000m, 100m, medicine ball long throw (2kg) and long jump in order to be able to do this at the ABB sports event on 28/29. September in Weinheim.

FAQ

What physical requirements do I have to have?

Only those who are healthy are allowed to take part in training and exams. Otherwise, you do not have to be an athlete to receive the sports badge, as the achievements are divided into age groups.

What clothing do I need?

It is best to wear short sportswear and, depending on the weather, long sportswear over it (or also for the breaks). It is possible to use the TSV changing rooms. If necessary, you can get a guest transponder to use a locker in the changing room. Or simply take the sports bag / backpack with you to the pitch.

What are the costs for me?

ABB Betriebssport eV bears the entire cost of the sports badge. The ABB employees do not incur any costs for the joint training, participation in and acceptance of the examinations or the creation of the certificate.
